How to login / register a new user
To login or register a new user, press «Login». If you already have a user, enter your username and password and press «Login». If you have a user but have forgotten your password, press «Reset password». You will then receive an e-mail with a new password. Enter your username, and then your new password. If you want to register a new user, press «Register here».
Enter your desired username, as well as your e-mail address. You will then receive an e-mail with the subject «New account». In this e-mail there is a link you must follow to validate your user. Once you press this link, you will receive a new e-mail with the topic «Account validated». In this e-mail you will find your username and password. You log in to the registry by pressing «Login», and then enter your username and password.
When you have logged in, you will find your profile. Here you can enter the required information.
Keep in mind that the information you provide will be available for everyone to see whether they are registered users or not. Do not post sensitive information about yourself.
If you wish to change your password, this is where you do it. Enter your old password as well as your new password, and press «Change». You will receive an e-mail with your new password. Remember that this password is strictly personal. Do not share it with anyone.
Before you register a user in the Sleddog Registry, we advise you to read

Privacy. By creating a user, you agree to the Terms of Use. The Sleddog Registry is open to everyone, and everyone can read and see the information that is provided by the users, whether these people are registered users or not. Keep this in mind when you provide information about yourself – do not provide sensitive information that you do not want others to see.
NB! If you haven't received these e-mails within a few minutes, they may have ended up in your spam filter. Check yourspam filter to see if they are there. If you still have not received the e-mails, please contact

How to register new dogs
Before registering a new dog, please double check that the dog is not already in the database. Use the search engine on the front page to search for the dog in question with the chip number, ID, dog’s name, breeder and / or kennel. If you find your dog, you do not have to register it again. If you are not listed as the owner of the dog, please send an e-mail to
post@trekkhundregisteret.no and tell us which dog you wish to transfer to you.
If the dog is not registered in the database already, press «My dogs». Fill out the form that appears. Provide as much or little information as you’d like – remember that all the information will be available to everyone.
Once you have entered the required information, press «Save». You will then be notified that a new dog has been registered. Your dog is now in the database. NB! You have to refresh the page before the new dog appears in the list of your dogs.
You can easily edit the information provided about your dog by pressing «My dogs». Your dogs will be listed above the button that says «Register new dog». Click on the dog you wish to edit, and you will be able to change the information about this dog. Remember to press «Save» to save the new information.
